A fresh round of explosion has rocked Bauchi, the Bauchi State capital.
A source said a loud explosion was heard around the St John Catholic Cathedral in the vicinity of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University around the Bayan Gari area of the city.
The Bauchi Police Command’s spokesperson, Mohammed Hassan, confirmed he had also received report of the explosion. A suicide car bomber of the Islamic terror group, Boko Haram smashed his car on the gate of St. John’s Catholic Cathedral, Batya
n Gari area of Bauchi, resulting in some fatalities.
Six worshippers were killed instantly and about 54 others injured.
